HarbourFront occupies the stretch of southern coastline between Mount Faber and the Sentosa gateway, within postal district 4 in the Central region. It is a compact, highly walkable precinct where the ferry terminal, VivoCity and the MRT interchange sit within a few minutes of each other on foot, with the Telok Blangah and Keppel Bay residential enclaves immediately around them.
Daily life revolves around the water and the hills. The waterfront promenade runs along the harbour, Mount Faber Park rises directly behind the district with its cable car link to Sentosa, and the Southern Ridges walking trails connect residents through to Telok Blangah Hill and beyond. It is one of the few places in Singapore where sea views, forested parkland and a city-fringe address overlap.
Transport and connectivity
HarbourFront MRT station (NE1/CC29) is an interchange serving both the North East Line and the Circle Line, giving residents direct rail access to Chinatown, Clarke Quay and Dhoby Ghaut on one line and the Circle Line orbital route on the other. The station connects directly to VivoCity, and many journeys from central Singapore take roughly 10 to 25 minutes depending on origin.
The district is also the mainland boarding point for Sentosa, via the Sentosa Express monorail from VivoCity, the cable car from Mount Faber and HarbourFront Tower Two, and the pedestrian boardwalk. For drivers, the area sits close to the western end of the city, with quick access towards the CBD and the West Coast corridor.
Housing stock and prices
Hombble currently tracks 1,730 live listings in HarbourFront, with an average asking price of S$6,406,658, an average size of 3,109 sqft and an average asking rate of S$1,839 per square foot. The mix is dominated by private housing, with 1,127 condo listings alongside 308 landed and 295 HDB listings.
The condo market here is defined by large waterfront developments. Reflections at Keppel Bay, the Daniel Libeskind-designed 99-year leasehold project, has transacted between roughly S$1,501 and S$2,329 psf over the past year at an average of about S$1,752 psf, according to EdgeProp data, with four-bedroom units reaching close to S$9 million. Corals at Keppel Bay, completed in 2016 with 366 units across eleven low-rise blocks, sits nearby. The HDB component comes largely from the adjacent Telok Blangah estate, which offers a more affordable entry point into district 4.

HarbourFront Centre and the surrounding office towers add everyday retail, banking and food options, while Sentosa's beaches, golf and attractions are effectively an extension of the neighbourhood.
For families, Blangah Rise Primary School serves the immediate Telok Blangah area, and the wider Bukit Merah and Alexandra corridor broadens the choice of primary and secondary schools within a short drive. Green space is a genuine strength, with Mount Faber Park and the Southern Ridges providing extensive trails directly accessible from the residential estates.
Outlook: the Greater Southern Waterfront
HarbourFront sits at the heart of the Greater Southern Waterfront, the URA's roughly 2,000-hectare, 30-kilometre coastline redevelopment stretching from Gardens by the Bay to Pasir Panjang, enabled by the relocation of the Tanjong Pagar, Keppel and Brani port terminals to Tuas. The former Keppel Club golf course, a 48-hectare site next to Keppel Bay, is the flagship residential precinct and is planned to house around 9,000 new homes, with the first BTO flats launched in October 2025 and the first private land parcel awarded in November 2025.
Closer in, Mapletree's redevelopment of HarbourFront Centre into a new Grade A office tower has been reported to begin in the second half of 2026, and Pulau Brani is earmarked for future leisure development alongside Sentosa. The GSW is a 20 to 30 year programme, so buyers should treat the uplift as a long-term story rather than a near-term catalyst. For owners, the combination of scarce waterfront stock, an MRT interchange and a state-led transformation on the doorstep underpins the district's long-run appeal.
